Bless This Immunity - Limited Print from Original Hand-Painted Watercolor and Ink on Recycled Paper

I created this artwork around the time Tool released their album "Fear Inoculum" in 2019. The name of the artwork comes from the lyrics of the 1st track of this album, also called "Fear Inoculum". This is how I related to the lyrics:

I was going through a time of reflection on some of my past unpleasant experiences, and how after the wounds have heeled, an immunity was formed. The same poison or toxins would not affect me as intensely the next time. It came to my attention as I watched people close to me go through similar painful emotions, and found myself able to understand them, and help them understand the situation better, because of my past experiences. And on the other hand, the best advises I have received were from people who went through similar struggles as mine and made it to the other side. We all struggle with our own insecurities. We have all been through painful moments, and have watched the healing process take its course. Trust in that. And remember to be grateful once you watch yourself achieve this immunity. And to be there for those you care about, who are still in the process of developing their own immunity.
